True story… I was watching a transaction go down for the sale of this small orange car, across the street from my neighbor’s house. This beautiful young woman was obviously enthralled by this little orange 1978 Toyota Corolla; it was her dream car. It is rare to see such a young individual desire an older collector’s car such as this. After they were done, and she had purchased the car, I felt like I just had to jump at this opportunity and ask the young woman, Brooke, if she would like to model with her car at some point and time (and she said ok!).
We finally got the chance to set up our shoot and decided that sunset on Doomsday Hill, (a well known hill in Spokane, Washington), would be the best background to make her car pop against the radiant sky. The wardrobe was selected to give a retro vibe, to match the look of the car. We went with a cute vintage summer dress paired with the perfect hat and then for a shift of gears, we kicked it up a notch to a bold, black, and sexy outfit as the sun started to set. This was her very first professional photoshoot and she nailed it.
