Cypress Cars & Coffee October 2025

A few months ago, I attended my first Cypress Cars & Coffee gathering, which focused on JDM rides for that month. This time, the focus was shifted to Porches. I did enjoy my last one, and I was off work again, so I decided to get up, get ready and be there on time for the event’s start… or so I thought.

I made sure to charge the batteries and get everything ready the night before. I had my alarm set to be there on time, and I ended up being prepared before it went off. I arrived right at 8 am and parked my ride, grabbed my camera and started getting the settings right to start snapping photos. That’s when I realized I didn’t put any of the memory cards back in the bag, and the extras I usually have in there were missing too—rookie mistake. I ended up going to the nearby Walmart to buy a new card and then returned to the venue.

When I first arrived, there was still plenty of parking. However, when I returned, most of the display spots and the general parking area were filled up, so I had to park further back this time. I quickly started snapping photos of the rides in the main area and continued until they started leaving. The weather was perfect, and it was a pretty sunny Saturday morning. This time, I didn’t see many familiar faces, but I did see a few. Hopefully next time I can make it out to one of their events, I have everything that I need lol.

I grew up around american muscle working on cars with my dad, but by the time they were ready to get me a car, they wanted something reliable and good on gas. Picked up my first civic and started modded years back which introduced to the import scene. I still have a soft spot for some old school american muscle.
