Tourq’D Houston Toy Drive 2025

A while back, I went to try Noe’s Cafe for breakfast. While I was there, I saw a flyer or sign for a Cars & Coffee event hosted at their location. I forgot about it and never checked out one of the events. Fast-forward to this past weekend: I finally made a quick stop to see what was there.

While at the Cars & Coffee for a Cause event off Market Street, a friend mentioned he was leaving for another gathering since he had been there for a few hours already. I mentioned I was going to wrap up my coverage and head out to one as well, but come to find out, he was going to a different one. He mentioned the Tourq’D Houston Cars & Coffee event, and since it was on the way, I decided to make a quick stop to see for myself.

While trying to see the event page for this on Facebook, I noticed I had marked myself as interested because it was being partnered with Speed Advocates for the toy drive, which created the event page. I stopped by for maybe a max of 30 minutes, walked back and forth, snapping away at all the rides, and saw a few recognizable faces while there. It looks like it had a good start, going to have to put this on my calendar so I can spend more time at one of their future events.

I grew up around american muscle working on cars with my dad, but by the time they were ready to get me a car, they wanted something reliable and good on gas. Picked up my first civic and started modded years back which introduced to the import scene. I still have a soft spot for some old school american muscle.
