Tokyo Nights July 2025

This past weekend, NeoMeets hosted their Tokyo Nights gatherings at Manchu Hot Pot off Bellaire Boulevard. I had planned on getting there a little early, but ended up getting there right at the starting time to find a lot of cars already there. I ended up parking down the street and walking over, and the cars and people kept coming.

I left my tripod at home, so I ended up just going handheld for the night and made my rounds throughout Machu’s parking lot to snap photos of all the rides there. The spectator parking areas across the street were pretty packed as well; it looks like they could use a bigger spot. I stayed for most of the event and tried to capture all the rides that made it in. Hopefully, I can make it out to the next one.

I grew up around american muscle working on cars with my dad, but by the time they were ready to get me a car, they wanted something reliable and good on gas. Picked up my first civic and started modded years back which introduced to the import scene. I still have a soft spot for some old school american muscle.
