For a car enthusiast there’s nothing better than heading out on the weekend to mingle with other car enthusiast. The cars and coffee craze has continued to grow over the years, and here in the Michigan its no different. We have a limited time to enjoy our car season due us being a state that has a winter season. Now with summer in full stride, there are many options for the car enthusiast around town. One of the newest cars and coffee to hit our area is the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Cars & Coffee, put on by the FCA Product Design Office. The FCA Cars & Coffee is held once a month out at FCA’s campus in Auburn Hills, MI about 30 miles north of Detroit.
In only its third month of existence, it has become quite popular amongst the car community. Open to all makes, models and years, there is no telling what you will see. A few top FCA Design execs have been know to stop in with their own rides. So what did we see this weekend, well for starters some awesome concepts from FCA. On display were a couple of Jeep concepts, the new Mopar Edition RAM Rebel, and a customized Dodge Charger. As I walked the area there were numerous classic muscle cars, modern performance cars, exotics, imports, etc.
It’s nice to have options on a Saturday morning, with so many events around town. The Motor City is definitely buzzing when it comes to the car scene. Stay tuned for many more car events from the metro Detroit area.
