During my visit in Wichita, I joined a few groups on Facebook to see what car events were going on. One group was called “Sunday Cruz Day” and as the name suggest, members would gather Sunday afternoon for a quick meet-up followed by cruising the Wichita area.
My window was open for that evening so I drove to the meet up location and waited for the rides to arrive. I parked further down away from the meeting spot, so after a few rides showed up I moved to join the rest. I grabbed my camera and snapped away at the rides that showed up. There wasn’t a huge turnout but I enjoyed seeing the local ride. I didn’t spend much time covering the meet and I was able to spend some time chatting with the car owners there.
After a while, it was time for the cruise to begin. A few late arrivals showed up so I snapped a few more photos as people started to leave. I did not join the cruise this time, but maybe next time I visit Wichita I will stick around for that.
