I some time ago, I attended the Import Face-Off car show at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown. I had ordered a group of parts and was hoping to a new look to debut at this show. Well, it didn’t come together as planned, so I drove the Veloster as it was.
I arrived pretty early so I could clean up the ride and be ready for the show. As soon as I finished, I grabbed my camera and started to walk around and check out the other cars as I took photos. I stalled a bit as I walked around so more cars would be finished setting up and wiped down. It took a lot longer than expected to walk through the display and snap a photo of each ride.
By the time I finished with the show area of the event, I was only able to watch a few of the races on the track, but I did make it in time for the burn-out contest as well as the tire popping portion. I stuck around for that and made my way back to the lot to snap some more photos of the show cars.
Not much later I made my way back to the section next to the track for the award ceremony. I wrapped up my coverage with snapping a few photos of the winners as well as some of the IFO staff that put on these amazing events for us. My car will be ready for the next show, see you then!
