Houston Coffee and Cars November 2017

The beginning of November in Houston is usually when the temperatures start to drop. This past Saturday wasn’t quite the cooler weather I had hoped for, but at least it wasn’t the usual hot weather we had all Summer. Instead, we were greeted with some decent temperatures accompanied with foggy backgrounds.

This was the first time in a while that I left my house early to arrive before starting time of Houston Coffee and Cars, but I had plans for that day, and I couldn’t stay past the end of the meet like I usually do. Once I arrived, I grabbed my camera and immediately started my coverage of the gathering. With it being a little darker since I had arrived early, I grabbed a different lens than I am used to at this event, but went ahead and proceeded anyway with my 35mm prime lens.

Once again, I started up in the front of the main display area hoping to capture these exotics before the crowds grew anymore around them. To celebrate our new World Series champions, Lamborghini Houston brought out the Astros themed Huracan, which was put on display in the front. After taking a few photos of the exotics in the front, the new Ford GT arrived and was placed up front within the stanchions. Afterwards, I proceed to capture the rest of the rides in the main display area, which was a mixture of exotics with some classic muscle, a few imports, and several vintage beauties.

Once I was down with the main area, I extended my coverage to the secondary area. By this time a lot of the rides already started leaving so I quickly captured whatever caught my eye. After walking through a few rows, I returned to the main display area to conclude my coverage with a few more shots before I had to leave.  If you missed out on this month’s gathering, stay tuned for the next one. Houston Coffee and Cars event is held monthly, usually the first Saturday of each month, and is currently being held at Memorial City Mall.
