Back in December, I headed back to George R. Brown Convention Center to attend Hot Import Nights, which was one of the last car shows for 2015 here in Houston. I arrived right at the starting time of the event, grabbed my pass and walked in before they started to let in the masses. Before I started my coverage, I walked around briefly to check out what was all here. After a few minutes I grabbed my camera and started walking towards the front right side of the hall to begin.
The music started and the light began to dim as I was setting up my tripod, the show had officially started. I went down row by row, snapping a photo of each ride. I took a few breaks in between some rides to headed over to the main stage to see what was going on there. I came across their bikini contest with a few rounds there, and later some gogo dancers where found on stage entertaining the crowds at throughout the show.
I walked back and forth trying to capture a photo of each ride as usual, unfortunately a few of them didn’t make the cut. The tripod must of been bumped on some of the shots as I was shooting since a few of those out blurry. After I wrapped up the photos of all the rides, I went back through the hall to get some more shots of the vendors and models of the show. I ended up having a little mini photo shoot with Bear Dellinger with Jan’s wide body carbon fiber GTR. After that I stayed for a bit longer as the show came to an end, I ended up being there for majority of the show. I grabbed my gear and headed home as the trophies were being announced to the winner. Let us know what you thought of the show, leave some comments!
