2017 F1 Title Challengers Revealed

The past week has seen all of the Formula One paddock release their title contenders and liveries for the 2017 F1 season. Pre-season testing commenced this week in Barcelona, and with the sweeping changes to the car design, aero, and tyre regulations, it will be interesting to see whose engineering and design team will take advantage of the interpretation of the current rules.

The last major adjustments to the rules and regulations saw the Mercedes team take full advantage of aero and engine tweaks, creating the foundations for a chassis and engine that would go on to dominate and win, the 2014, 2015, and 2016 titles.

Fans look forward to a new era in 2017 and hope that the competition amongst the teams is a lot closer in order to promote overtaking – and hopefully inject some excitement back into the sport that has come under fire for being “boring” and “too predictable” in past seasons. Initial pre-season testing has seen the Ferrari, Mercedes and RedBull teams show early pace, however few teams show their hand so early on.

Below are a collection of the press images from the recent team releases and photos form the Barcelona test. Let us know in the comments which car has the best livery and what team you hope will be competitive in the coming 2017 season?
